OpenBLD.net – Engine for a Faster Internet​

These are the new "gears" in the racing engine of OpenBLD.net. Some have been rewritten or built from scratch:

• Synchronous processing of block lists
• Caching of blocking events
• Updated caching system — the log enricher now has its own cache
• Enhanced request processing system
• New health-checking system for upstream servers, with response time detection
• Improved load balancing, routing requests to servers with the lowest response time
• Optimized parallel DNS request handling, delivering the fastest response

I hope these features will help us save valuable time online while the OpenBLD.net system's gears run smoothly under the hood.

Hagezi DNS Blocklists as a Separated Service in OpenBLD.net​

Hagezi ⚡ DNS Blocklists - Made with 💓 for a safer and cleaner internet. Privacy is not a crime. Privacy matters. Privacy is what allows us to determine who we are and who we want to be.

You can use Hagezi without any additional blocklists — simply use Hagezi in OpenBLD.net as a DoH link in RIC mode.

The open service OpenBLD.net has been collaborating with Veesp.com for two years now. As a one-stop hosting provider, Veesp.com provided a server in Latvia with 100% uptime and fast response times 💪, and now there’s an additional server in the Netherlands!

3HCLOUD.kz- Supports OpenBLD.net​

I’m happy to announce that thanks to 3hcloud.kz, new DNS and Cache servers have been launched in Almaty!

The cloud impressed us with its speeds, hardware, and eagerness to meet the needs of clients and potential partners.

Servers are currently being prepared in Europe (Poland), with plans for the Philippines and the USA to follow.

These ambitious plans will be realized one way or another, but with 3HCLOUD, I’m confident they will happen faster 🚀

Have you ever faced issues with receiving responses from servers? Timeouts, errors, or empty replies can significantly disrupt some workflows. But I tried, and I think I found a solution!

🟩 The new OpenBLD.net feature includes a guaranteed response system that activates in cases where the standard resolution process fails. If you receive a Servfail status or other errors, we employ additional logic, and the service takes a:

• Internal pool of servers.
• External pool of servers.

By mixing both, we ensure unique servers without upstreams that returned a fail status or are busy.

This means that even if the initial response was unsuccessful, we continue the search for the correct answer, ensuring reliability and accuracy for you.
